WELCOME friends!

Thanks for visiting our website because we have an AMAZING story to tell!

The Greater Detroit Chapter is a local 501 (c)-3 unit of The Society, Incorporated, Supporting the Arts. Since November 15, 1997, our chapter has been quite busy! We’ve provided enrichment experiences in all genres of the Arts for middle school and senior high school students from Detroit and surrounding communities. Over time, we have established and leveraged longstanding partnerships with the Detroit Public Schools Community District; the National Conference of Artists (NCA); the National Sphynx Organization; the Detroit Windsor Dance Academy; the Carr Center; Your Heritage House; the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (CHWMAAH); and the InsideOut Literary Arts Program.
